The Lovely Sea

When you know that you have found
The love you want to keep around
The sea can rise and crash and break
But you know it’s no mistake

Though warm tides at times can cool
Churn instead of gently pool
There’s no place you’d rather be
Than swimming in that lovely sea

The horizon line is always true
Levels me and levels you
Always even up ahead
Sunrise glow around our heads.
